    • Delaware looks to close out its non-conference schedule on a high note as the Blue Hens return from their holiday break to host Iona.
   • UD is playing its second consecutive home game against a MAAC opponent, after posting a 59-56 win over Marist last Tuesday.
   • The Blue Hens are attempting to start 5-0 at home for the first time since the 1999-2000 squad won its first nine home games.
   • A victory would also give Delaware a winning record through the non-conference portion of its schedule.
   • The Blue Hens are coming off an 81-53 loss at South Florida on Thursday, as UD allowed 81 points for the third consecutive road game.
   • Ryan Daly led Delaware with 17 points, reaching double figures for the fourth consecutive game. Daly now leads the Blue Hens with an 11.5 scoring average, and is the third leading freshman scorer in the CAA.
   • Tampa native Chivarsky Corbett added 15 points and grabbed a team-leading six rebounds during his homecoming game.
   • Iona has won all five previous meetings with the Blue Hens, including last year's 92-77 triumph in New Rochelle, N.Y.
   • The Gaels won during their only previous visit to Newark, a 52-50 triumph on Feb. 17, 2007 in a BracketBusters game.
   • Delaware opens CAA play at home on Saturday with a 2 p.m. tipoff vs. Hofstra.
