LAST TIME OUT ⚽️
The Blue Hens needed just one goal Friday evening as Delaware held its third straight opponent to a blank score sheet with its 1-0 win at Lehigh. Ben Sampson registered the lone tally of the night with his seventh career goal. In the 43rd minute, Sampson collected the ball from Carlos Perales off the corner kick and headed in the game-winner, which deflected off a Lehigh defender. The assist was just the second career for Perales. The Mountain Hawks (1-2-0) had chances in the second half, but couldn't put one past the Blue Hens (3-0-0) and goalie Todd Morton. Morton finished the day with two saves and now has seven on the year to go along with zero goals allowed.
