Feyrer, Gillman Perform Well at First CAA Pod Meet, but Blue Hens fall to UNCW, James Madison and William & Mary

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- School record holder Mina Feyrer finished second and third in the 100 fly and 200 fly events, but the Blue Hens fell to UNCW, James Madison and William & Mary at this weekend's CAA Pod Meet at Seahawk Natatorium.
Delaware (1-5, 0-3 CAA) dropped a 239-108 decision to William & Mary (6-2, 3-1 CAA), and fell 262-91 to James Madison (5-2, 4-0 CAA). The Hens also fell 252-101 to host UNCW (4-4, 1-2 CAA).
Highlights included the Blue Hens 200 free relay team (Ellie Jogani, Melissa Manuelli, Sarah Braatz and Athena Cimino) finishing fourth (1:39.20) and Jogani finishing fifth in the 200 IM (2:11.27). Sophomore Maddy Gillman finished second in 100 breaststroke (1:07.30).
The Blue Hens return to action next Saturday at La Salle. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will feature the Blue Hens,
