Delaware Closes Weekend at Armory Invitational; 4 x 800 Meter Relay Sets School Record

The Blue Hens placed ninth in the team standings with 23 points. Oklahoma won the women's team title with 72 points followed by Ohio State, Duke, South Carolina, Toronto, Richmond, Wisconsin, Tulane, Delaware, and Columbia in the top 10.
Delaware athletes competed in five events during Saturday's competition.
The Blue Hens 4 x 400 meter relay team posted a fourth place finish with a time of 3:51.81; Sarah Hillman was 18th in the weight throw (52-3.75); Spadaccini was 20th in the 800 meters (2:17.93); Reid was 33rd in the 200 meters (25.09); Ciara Murphy was 41st in the 800 meters (2:21.37); London Freeland was 47th in the 200 meters (25.45); Haley Berkeley was 74th in the 200 meters (26.55); Leslie Ope was 83rd in the 200 meters (26.97); and Paige Thompson-Charles was 84th in the 200 meters (27.08).
