Senior Spotlight: Seven Blue Hens Seniors Celebrate Final Home Meet

NEWARK, Del. -- With senior scheduled for Sunday, January 15, 2018, the seven graduating Delaware swimming and diving members were all asked six different questions including their favorite Delaware swimming memory, their favorite food on Main St and their favorite Delaware memory.
Favorite Delaware swimming memory:
- The experience of training in Florida this past December was probably my favorite memory. We got to bond together as a team in a different place, and we trained hard in a different, warmer setting.
Favorite Delaware memory
- Staying at UDance for all 12 hours last year, getting to see the heroes perform and dancing during rave hour. The energy in the Bob was incredible, and I still get chills thinking about the final reveal of almost 2 million dollars FTK.
Favorite place to study/hang out on campus
- Trabant or Main Street coffee shop
Favorite food on Main Street
- Crabby fries
Thing you will miss most about Delaware
- I'll miss seeing my teammates and
being a part of a team that works hard together every single day.
SARAH BRAATZ
- The CAA Championships my freshman year when I broke five minutes in the 500 for the first time
- When my mom organized a campus-wide treasure hunt for my 18th birthday.
- Trabant or Graham hall
- Mexican

- when we beat George Mason University my sophomore year

- there are too many great moments that I can't pick a favorite

- Bagels
What I'll miss most about UD:
- Seeing and competing with all my teammates every day

- Our training trip to Florida this year and finding out that I made the conference team for the first time sophomore year.

- The awesome 21st Birthday Party that Sarah and the rest of my teammates planned for me.

- The beautiful campus while walking to class and seeing the friends that I have made over the years.

- Being part of the 800 free relay at CAA Championships my sophomore year that placed third and broke the school record

- The first few weeks of freshman year, meeting a bunch of new people and friends
