Delaware Falls to George Mason

FAIRFAX, Va. – The Delaware swimming and diving team fell to George Mason on Saturday afternoon. The women lost 153-147 and the men lost 188-110.

On the women's side, senior Gabby Acker won the 1000m freestyle with a 10:30.29, four secondsahead of the second place finisher.

In the 100 yard backstoke, senior Amy Nemeth won after a 58.41. Freshman Allison Gozdan finished third in the same event with a 1:00.37.

Freshman Taylor Dragnosky won the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:06.17. Dragnosky also won the 200 yard breaststroke after a 2:22.22.

Senior Mina Feyrer took home a win in the 200 yard butterfly with a 2:06.41 Feyrer also won the 100 yard butterfly with a 56.87.

On the men's side, senior Asher Kiely finished first in the 100 yard backstroke with a 51.83.

In diving, sophomore Jacob Lukens won the 1-meter dive with a 240.60, just edging Colin Graves of GMU with a score of 240.30.

The relay team of Evan Custance, Storm Krader, Bryce Ciecko and Asher Kiely won the 400-yard freestyle with a time of 3:09.73. Aaron Buzdygon, Samuel Grossi, Mark Wellborn, Kevin Basch finished
