Delaware Completes Day One of POD Meet

Mina Feyrer won the 100-yard fly
NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware swimming and diving program completed day one of the POD Meet against William & Mary, James Madison University and UNCW. UD will complete the meet tomorrow at 10 a.m.
The meet is being scored like a dual meet against each team. After day one, the Delaware women lead UNCW 131.5 – 109.5 while they trail W&M 127-107 and JMU 179-62. The men trail W&M 166-37 and UNCW 176-53.
On the women's side, Mina Feyrer won the 100-yard fly with a time of 57.03. Feyrer won that event five times last season.
Taylor Dragnosky finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.97.
In the 200-yard IM, Elizabeth Jogani finished third less than a second behind the leader with a time of 2:09.34.
Delaware's 400-yard medley team of Amy Nemeth, Taylor Dragnosky, Mina Feyrer and Elizabeth Jogani placed second with a time of 3:53.25.
The 200-yard medley relay of Amy Nemeth, Taylor Dragnosky, Mina Feyrer and Athena Cimino finished third with a time with 1:48.71.
On the men's side, the 200-yard medley relay of Ean Kiely, Reginald Bradnock, Justin Sabo and Kyle Weston finished third with a 1:35.00.
Chris Cornell finished fifth 100-yard breaststroke after a time of 1:00.53.
