Delaware Drops 72-61 Contest at Boston Univ.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Blue Hens led early, but the shots were falling for Boston University Sunday afternoon as Delaware fell to the Terriers, 72-61, at BU's Case Gym.
Graduate student Makeda Nicholas led UD with a season-high 18 points to go along with four rebounds and three blocked shots.
Junior Abby Gonzales added 16 points, three assists, two steals and two rebounds as the Blue Hens fall to 3-4 on the year.
Sophomore Justina Mascaro finished the day with nine points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Shooting percentages hurt Delaware in the end as the Hens shot 24-for-71 at a clip of .338 while the Terriers (4-2) collected 26 made baskets on 54 attempts (.481).
