POST-GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Natasha Adair
"This is obviously a very disappointing night and outcome. We're still really searching for that core lineup with this group. I know we've talked about losing Nicole [Enabosi], and just the impact she had, but again we're eight games in and we have a veteran group. It's time to figure things out. We executed into great shots, but you have to knock them down to finish the play. We have to have a short memory because we finally come home for the first time this season on Sunday. The thing that I'm encouraging them and challenging them to do is to put together a 40-minute game of Delaware basketball and that's with grit, toughness, energy, confidence, poise. But most importantly that's with a winning mindset."
HEN SCRATCHINGS
• Makeda Nicholas' 139 career blocked shots is good for fifth in Delaware women's basketball history. Paula Polyanksi (1983-86) is fourth all-time with 155 while Elena Delle Donne (2009-13) holds the program record with 273.
• Delaware is now 10-8 all-time against the Patriots in Fairfax, Va.
• Since November 8, the Blue Hens have traveled approximately 9,700 miles round-trip by air and bus.
