Benyowitz and Lankes Garner CAA Doubles Team of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman Nathan Benyowitz (Los Angeles, Calif./Shalhevet) and sophomore Laurenz Lankes (Cologne, Germany) earned Delaware's third CAA Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week award Tuesday.

For the week, the pair went 3-0 with victories over Howard, La Salle and Mount St. Mary's, all of which came in the No. 2 doubles spot.

Benyowitz and Lankes have won eight straight matches and are 12-2 in doubles play this spring.

The Blue Hens (16-7) wrap regular season action with a match at Morgan State Tuesday afternoon before hosting Hampton at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Delaware Field House Outdoor Courts.

Delaware received the No. 8 seed and will take on top-seeded William & Mary at 9 a.m. Friday in the CAA Tournament Quarterfinals.
