The University of Delaware Hockey Program offers comprehensive, year-round ice hockey training and competition for all age levels and abilities. We provide a fun, safe atmosphere at every level of youth hockey from 4 years to 17 years of age. We are also pleased to offer special clinics throughout the year.

Learn to Play Hockey
Learn to Play Hockey is designed to teach and strengthen basic skating and hockey skills. The classes prepare players for in-house or travel league play. Qualified instructors guarantee adequate attention to all players because of
Cross Ice and In-House Hockey Leagues
Cross-ice hockey is specifically designed for players 8 and under and provides fast results in the most enjoyable environment available. Cross-ice hockey is a system whereby skaters play the game along one-third of the width of the rink rather than the full length.
In-House Hockey League is designed for players ages 9 to 12 (or if evaluated to play in this league if younger than 9). This league is a great way to have fun while further developing hockey skills. The In-House League provides players quality game experience without
Junior Blue Hen Travel Teams are fielded for USA Hockey age levels, the Mites through Midgets. The teams compete in the Delaware Valley Hockey League, a
Snipers Limited Travel organization participates in league action from November through March for children starting in the elementary grades up through high school, along with our men's team in an in-house men's program through the University of Delaware.
The University of Delaware Hockey Clinics
Full equipment is required and is not provided by the UD Ice Arenas. Open hockey is for players 18 and older. Open hockey is a great time to work on your individual drills or play pick up games as well.
