2018 Ice Skating Summer Camp Registration begins Feb. 5, 2018 June 18-22 & July 30-Aug 3 & Aug. 13-17, 2018

This camp will focus on introducing the basic skills to those that have never skated or those who have taken lessons before, as well as working on skills/jump/spins for more experienced skaters. In addition to the on ice classes; the campers will work on team building activities, art and crafts and time at the UD Outdoor Pool. The classes are designed for ALL skating abilities as classes are divided by age and skill level.
Coaching Staff
The camp hires the talents of the local UD skating community including professional coaches from the University of Delaware High Performance Figure Skating Center. The camp is directed by Isabella Cannuscio and Christine Moxley.
Christie has been a part of the University of Delaware figure skating program for over 28 years. She began in skating in the learn to skate program and went on to compete at the Sectional level in Freestyle, National level in pairs and International level in ice dancing. Christie has been coaching for over 17 years. She enjoys coaching all disciplines and levels and has worked with skaters at the National, International and Junior World level. Christie has served on the UDFSC board as well as numerous USFS committees. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware in Health and Exercise Sciences.
Isabella is the University of Delaware Learn to Skate Coordinator. She is a USFSA Gold Medalist in Ice Dance and Moves in the Field, and a member of the PSA. She was a National Competitor from 2003-2014 and an International Competitor from 2007-2011. "Even though I am retired from the sport, I am still involved in U.S. Figure Skating through committees, as well as a member of the UDFSC Board.
