Sullivan IV Earns CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. -- For the fourth time this season, freshman Billy Sullivan IV has earned a Colonial Athletic Association weekly award, as Sullivan IV was named CAA Rookie of the Week the conference announced Monday.
Sullivan IV (New Castle, Del./St. Mark's) continued his strong freshman campaign tossing 6.2 no-hit innings in Delaware's 3-1 combined one-hitter Saturday. The Delaware native struck out seven batters.
The freshman is now 5-2 on the season, lowering his ERA 3.32 for the season. The seven strikeouts raise his season total to 75 and
Delaware returns to action tomorrow night at UMBC, before continuing CAA play at William & Mary this weekend. Delaware is looking to clinch a CAA postseason berth this weekend for the sixth time in seven years.
