Bellinger led the way with 13 kills
NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware volleyball team fell to UNC-Wilmington, 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) on Sunday afternoon inside the Bob Carpenter Center. With the loss, UD dropped to 6-10 and 0-4 in the Colonial Athletic Association while Wilmington improved to 8-3 and 1-0 in the CAA.

Junior Maria Bellinger led the way once again with 13 kills on 54 swings. Sophomore setter Courtnie Roberts and junior Baliey Pearlman each had six hammers. Roberts' total was season best. Senior Brooke Robertson recorded five while junior Cailey Bracken and sophomore Julia Hayes heach had four.
Roberts added 20 assists and directed the offense to 38 total kills. Senior Abby Skryd chipped in with 11 helpers and junior Andie Hanus had three.

Hanus had a match-high 23 digs – her highest during CAA play this season. Hanus has reached the 20 scoop mark in seven matches this season. Bracken had 11 digs while Roberts had eight of her own. Skyrd had five and Robertson had four, UD recorded 62 as a team. The Blue Hens out dug the Seahawks, 62-60.

Delaware posted six team blocks, with Robertson leading the way with four – one off her season high. Roberts, Bellinger and Pearlman each had two stuffs with one of Pearlman's coming as a solo. Hayes recorded one block.

The Blue Hens had four aces, with Pearlman recording two and Robertson and Hanus each posting one.
