LYNCHBURG, Va. – Poor weather forced a few changes Sunday as the Blue Hens concluded play at the Liberty Invitational.

Sunday's action was played indoors at the Crosswhite Athletic Club and featured an unconventional shortened singles format where players were required to win four games to claim a set rather than the standard six games. Singles matches were still best two-of-three sets and included a third-set 10-point tiebreaker.

In singles play, freshman Eliza Askarova improved to 5-2 on the year with her 4-0, 4-3 victory over Liberty's Micaela Ode Mitre.

Delaware also captured a win in doubles action as freshman Jojo Bach paired with sophomore Caragh Courtney for the 6-3 decision against Ode Mitre and Tiffany Nguyen.
