Hens Pick Up Wins Over Navy at Martha Thorn Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Delaware kicked off play Friday at the Martha Thorn Invitational, hosted by West Virginia University, with three victories.
In singles play, freshmen Eliza Askarova and Jojo Bach joined junior Sarah Whited in continuing success from a weekend ago with wins over the Mids.
Askarova registered her third straight victory, and her team-leading sixth of the season, by topping Kacey Moore, 6-4, 6-2.
Bach captured the 6-2, 6-0 win over Aimee Dervishian while Whited defeated Irene Norman, 6-2, 6-3.
