Hens Capture Titan Classic Title Following 81-80 OT Victory Over Santa Clara

FULLERTON, Calif. – Junior Lizzie Oleary drained a 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining in overtime and the Blue Hens held on for the thrilling 81-80 victory over Santa Clara Saturday afternoon as part of the Cal State Fullerton Titan Classic.
The Broncos led for almost the majority of the contest, but Delaware never let the game get out of reach.
Sophomore Jasmine Dickey gave the Hens the two-point advantage with eight seconds remaining in regulation before Santa Clara was able to tie things at 69 to force overtime.
The Broncos went up by as much as five in the extra stanza, but Delaware outscored SC, 8-2, in the final two minutes to collect its second straight win of the year.
Nicole Enabosi led the Hens with a career-high 32 points to go along with eight rebounds while Dickey added 17 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Oleary finished the day with 10 points and eight rebounds. Senior Abby Gonzales registered her second career game of 10 assists in addition to tallying eight points.

· Nicole Enabosi and Jasmine Dickey were selected as All-Tournament Team honorees.
· Abby Gonzales is just the third-ever Blue Hen to record at least 10 assists in a single game multiple times in her career. She previously dished out 10 assists versus Boston University on November 19, 2017. Sue Whitfield (1984-88) and Bridget McCarthy (1987-91) each posted three 10-plus assist games during their four-year careers.
· Abby Gonzales became the sixth player in program history to reach 300 career assists and currently sits with 302 in 98 career games played.
