Enabosi Takes Home CAA Player of the Week Honor

NEWARK, Del. – After nearly 500 days away, Nicole Enabosi is starting to hit her stride and it couldn't happen at a better time for the University of Delaware women's basketball program.
Behind Enabosi's game-high 20-point performance, the Blue Hens concluded non-conference play with a dominant 63-44 victory over former CAA foe George Mason on Sunday afternoon.
With her 20 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks, Enabosi earned second CAA Player of the Week honor of the season and eighth of her illustrious career.
"Nicole is such a vital part of our program," head coach Natasha Adair said. "She's the ultimate competitor. Having her back on the court not only gives us another option, but it gives us a presence inside. Nicole is our leader and anchor of the our ship."
In her seven games this season, Enabosi is averaging 15.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 51.4-percent from the field.
Enabosi and her teammates begin conference play this upcoming weekend with road games at UNCW (Jan. 3) and Charleston (Jan. 5).
