Delaware Finishes Weekend with 4-3 Win at Duquesne

HARMAR, Pa. – The Blue Hens collected their second win of the spring season Sunday afternoon by topping Duquesne, 4-3, at Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh.
Tied at 3-3, freshman Caragh Courtney played in her second three-set match of the weekend and pulled out the clinching point by coming from behind to defeat Aishwarya Kona, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, in No. 3 singles.
Senior Sarah Hall also logged a singles win with the 6-4, 6-4 second-flight victory over Laurel Shymansky.
In No. 5 singles, sophomore Sarah Whited picked up the 6-3, 6-2 victory against Margot Pessy.
The Blue Hens (2-4) are now 2-0 all-time against Duquesne.
