Caragh Courtney and Emily Gotkiewicz Tabbed CAA Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – The Blue Hens have been trending in the right direction and on Tuesday freshmen duo Caragh Courtney and Emily Gotkiewicz earned Colonial Athletic Association Women's Doubles Team of the Week accolades.
The pair recorded three straight road wins in No. 2 doubles play to lead Delaware to victories over Saint Joseph's, Goldey-Beacom and Wilmington.
In Wednesday's match at SJU, Courtney and Gotkiewicz cruised to the 6-0 decision over Laura Gomez and Alex Kramer.
The twosome followed on Saturday with a 6-4 victory over Goldey-Beacom's Maria Bruno and Elin Anderson before topping Wilmington's Begona Gomar and Anushka Sathe, 6-2, in the nightcap.
Courtney and Gotkiewicz are 5-1 this season in No. 2 doubles action.
Delaware returns to the courts this Friday with a 2:30 p.m. match at George Mason.
