Delaware Learns Fate for CAA Men’s Tennis Tournament

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware men's tennis squad learned its fate Monday for the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association Championships, which is hosted April 17-20 by Elon University.
The Blue Hens received the No. 8 seed and will take on top-seeded UNCW at 9 a.m. Thursday in quarterfinals action at the Burlington Tennis Center.
With a win, Delaware would advance to play either No. 4 James Madison or No. 5 College of Charleston in Friday's 2 p.m. semifinal contest. The CAA men's championship match is set for 2 p.m. Saturday. Friday and Saturday's matches will be held at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

With a win, Delaware would advance to play either No. 4 James Madison or No. 5 Drexel in Saturday's 10 a.m. semifinal contest. The CAA men's championship match is set for 10 a.m. Sunday.
The Hens are currently 14-13 on the year and finished 0-3 in CAA play. Delaware has posted at least 14 wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1995-97.
