Blue Hens to Compete in Inaugural Sunshine Slam on Nov. 8-10

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team will participate in the inaugural Sunshine Slam tournament on Nov. 8-10 at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Fla.

The Blue Hens will be joined by Oakland, Southern Illinois and UTSA, as the teams will compete in a round robin format over the course of three days. All six games will be streamed live on FloSports.

Delaware will take on Oakland on Friday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m., Southern Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m., and UTSA on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets to the Sunshine Slam go on sale today at 12 noon and can be purchased through TicketMaster.com.
