Blue Hen Baseball Golf Classic Set for Oct. 4

Registration deadline is Sept. 30 for the event at Back Creek Golf Club
NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware baseball program is set to host its annual Golf Classic at Back Creek Golf Club, Friday, Oct. 4 with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

The registration deadline for the event is Monday, Sept. 30 and those interested can find more information and registration forms here. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and a post-round reception consisting of food, beverages, awards and raffle will get underway following the round at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The Blue Hens will honor three alums at the event, including Kevin Mohollen who joined the 200-hit club this past season. Also set to be honored as "Blasts from the Past" are Len Fischer and Bobby Gildea.

Attendees should also plan to stick around for the Delaware fall scrimmage against Rowan Gloucester County College Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at Bob Hannah Stadium.
