Wilkinson and Hedlund Tabbed CAA Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore James Wilkinson and freshman Liam Hedlund made a splash in the first two weeks of spring play and were subsequently named the first Colonial Athletic Association Men's Doubles Team of the Week of the season Wednesday.
The pair opened the spring slate by going 2-0 in No. 1 doubles, including a dominating win over a nationally ranked opponent.
In the first match of the season versus Richmond, Wilkinson and Hedlund cruised to the 6-1 victory against No. 60 Josh Keitelman and Matt Fernandez.
The duo followed with a 6-4 win over Bucknell's Marwan Abaza and Chunyu Chen.
Including fall tournament action, Wilkinson and Hedlund are 4-1 on the year.
The Blue Hens (3-1) return to the courts on Sunday with a noon match against Connecticut at Elkton Indoor Tennis.
