Delaware Head Athletic Trainer Dan Watson Honored for Outstanding Service by NATA

Senior Associate AD of Sport Performance Dan Watson was inducted into the Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association Hall of Fame this month.

Watson is the eighth inductee to the Hall of Fame. He previously served as DATA's president from 2011-2013 and has been the Governmental Affairs Committee Chair since 2013. In his roles, he has provided the state of Delaware regional and national recognition for athletic training. Dan has been a driving force for advocating the importance of the athletic training profession across the state of Delaware.

He graduated from UD in 1995 and started in a professional capacity in 2004. He has won a National Athletic Trainers' Association Service Award, a National Athletic Trainers' Association District 2 Service Award, and a Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association Service Award.
