Blue Hens Alter Opponents for Upcoming Weekend

Delaware will now play Gardner-Webb Friday, followed by North Carolina A&T Saturday and Sunday

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Delaware baseball team knows that early season schedules are not set in stone after a raining opening weekend at Florida Atlantic and more changes follow this upcoming weekend at Gardner-Webb.

The originally scheduled three-game series with Gardner-Webb has now shifted to one game against the Runnin' Bulldogs Friday at 4 p.m. followed by two games against North Carolina A&T on Saturday and Sunday.

The Aggies were scheduled to play in Mississippi this weekend, but heavy rains and flooding in the area have cancelled those contests.

Although the opponent has changed, the times have not as Saturday's first pitch is slated for 1 p.m. and Sunday's at 10 a.m. against the Aggies at John Henry Moss Stadium.
