Blue Hens Tied For 12th Place Following First Day of Kiawah Island Spring Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The University of Delaware women's golf team fired a 298 score on Sunday and is tied for 12th place following the first round of the Kiawah Island Spring Classic.
Blue Hen freshman Lexi Dart carded an even par 72 on the par 72, 5,964-yard Osprey Point course, ending the day in a tie for 18th place. Dart birdied the first, ninth and 12th holes while adding 12 pars on the afternoon.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 48th place with a two over par 74, while Ariane Klotz and Lene Sperling are each tied for 87th place after both players shot a four over par 76 on Sunday. Isabella Rimton, who fired a nine over par 81, is tied for 181st place.
Kylie Greulich is tied for sixth place in the Kiawah Island Individual tournament, as she carded an eight over par 80 on the par 72, 6,031-yard Cougar Point course.
The second round of the three-day tournament will take place on Monday.
