WILMINGTON, Del. – Delaware came up short Sunday afternoon with its 5-2 loss to Rutgers at the Delcastle Tennis Center.
Caragh Courtney and Jojo Bach picked up singles wins for the Hens, but it wasn't enough as the Scarlet Knights had already clinched the match.
Courtney defeated Sydney Kaplan in No. 3 singles for her team-leading 14th win of the season.
Bach followed with her second straight victory of the year by topping Kat Muzik in the fourth flight.

"I thought we had a good chance in the doubles, but the believe only came a little too late. We were competitive in five singles matches and had opportunities to win all of them. If we can figure out the small intangible piece that is missing right now, the rest of the season is going to be really exciting."
