Blue Hens Pick Up 5-2 Victory at George Washington

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Delaware displayed a strong performance in singles play Thursday afternoon as the Blue Hens topped George Washington, 5-2, at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
Freshman Jojo Bach collected her third straight win of the season and clinched the match for the Blue Hens in No. 4 singles with a come-from-behind three set victory over Luciana Kunkel.
Classmate Isabella Montana opened singles play with a win of her own in the second flight before fellow freshman Eliza Askarova posted a top-flight victory to give Delaware the 2-1 advantage.
Sophomore Caragh Courtney also posted a win on the day with her team-leading 15th victory of the year in No. 3 singles.
