JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Blue Hen senior
Ariane Klotz tied for first place while Delaware finished sixth in the team standings Monday and Tuesday at the UNF Collegiate.
Klotz fired a three over par 75 during Tuesday's round on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf & Country Club course, tying for first place at the invitational with a one over par 71-71-75-217. She finished in a tie along with CSU Fullerton's Brittany Shin, who was declared the individual champion on a scorecard playoff.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich tied for 25th place at the tournament with a 12 over par 76-77-75-228, while
Lene Sperling tied for 44th place with a 19 over par 76-81-78-235.
Lexi Dart, who carded a 78-83-77-238, and
Isabella Rimton, who shot an 80-79-79-238, each tied for 55th place at 22 over par.
The Blue Hens recorded a 305 score on Tuesday and finished in sixth place out of 16 teams with a 914 total.
Delaware returns to the course on Mar. 29-30 when the Blue Hens compete in the Stetson Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla.
