Klotz Tied for First Place, Blue Hens Fifth After Opening Day of UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Blue Hen senior Ariane Klotz is tied for the individual lead while Delaware sits in fifth place on Monday following the opening two rounds of the UNF Collegiate.

Klotz carded a pair of 71 rounds on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf & Country Club course, ending the day tied for first place along with Teresa Conroy of North Florida at two under par.

Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 24th place with a nine over par 76-77-153, while Lene Sperling is tied for 48th place with a 13 over par 76-81-157.

Isabella Rimton fired a 15 over par 80-79-159 to end the day in a tie for 53rd place, while Lexi Dart is tied for 59th place with a 17 over par 78-83-161.

Delaware carded team rounds of 301 and 308 on Monday, ending the day in fifth place out of 16 squads with a 609 score.

The final round of the tournament will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
