CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The University of Delaware women's golf team tied for 22nd place in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) GPA rankings announced this week.
The Blue Hens posted a 3.811 team GPA for the 2019-20 academic year, tying for 22nd place along with Chattanooga.
All 10 team members posted a GPA or 3.44 or higher for the year, with Siena Ferrick and Lene Sperling each earning perfect 4.00 marks. Sperling, Lexi Dart and Isabella Rimton were named WGCA All-American Scholars earlier this summer, while Aashaka Desai was tabbed an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.
"I am so proud of these young women and their commitment to their academic success," head coach Patty Post said. "This team has its priorities in order and the girls keep challenging themselves to achieve their goals in the classroom. I am so happy to see them get recognized for their efforts!"
