Blue Hens Remain Ranked in Both FCS Polls

NEWARK, DEL. – The Delaware football team remained in the top 25 in both national FCS polls, coming in at No. 23 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll, and No. 25 in the AFCA Coaches' FCS Top 25 Poll. The Blue Hens have been ranked each week this season.
Delaware dropped its second-straight road game on Saturday, falling 34-17 at Stony Brook despite 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns from Thyrick Pitts. It was the second 100-yard receiving game of the season for Pitts, and fourth of his career. Quarterback Zach Gwynn finished 15-of-29 passing for 199 yards and the two touchdowns. Colby Reeder led the UD defense with a career-high 12 tackles, including a sack and 1.5 TFL.
The Blue Hens will return home on Saturday, October 23 when Delaware hosts James Madison for a Homecoming matchup. The contest is set to kick off at 3 p.m. and will open a three-game homestand for the Blue Hens. Fans can purchase tickets for that game and all remaining home games HERE.
