Ryan Coe Named CAA Special Teams Player of the Week

NEWARK, DEL. – Delaware football junior placekicker Ryan Coe has been selected as the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. The honor recognizes Coe's performance on Saturday in Delaware's 20-15 victory over UAlbany.
Coe kicked a pair of field goals for the fourth-consecutive game to start the season, connecting on kicks of 44 and 21 yards against the Great Danes. He also made both of his PAT attempts and forced touchbacks on four of his five kickoffs. For the season, Coe is now 8-for-8 on field goals, including hitting all three from more than 40 yards, and is 10-for-10 on extra points.
The Blue Hens will head back out on the road for a pair of games, starting with a CAA matchup at Rhode Island next weekend. Kickoff at URI is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 9. Delaware's next home game will be Saturday, October 23 when the Blue Hens host James Madison for Homecoming. Fans can purchase tickets for that game and all remaining home games HERE.
