
Women's Lacrosse Inks Eleven in 2022 Signing Class

NEWARK, Del. - Head Coach Amy Altig and her staff announced the signing of 11 future Blue Hens for the recruiting class of 2022 to the Delaware women's lacrosse program.
The 2022 signed Blue Hens women's lacrosse class is a multi-talented and dynamic class of 11 highly academic, highly athletic, and high-character young women. Our staff is thrilled to welcome these amazing student-athletes into our Delaware lacrosse family. We believe their impact across the University and our lacrosse program will be felt the moment they step foot on campus. Towson, Md. | Roland Park Country School | Midfield
Bio | Three-sport varsity athlete playing lacrosse and soccer while also running track at Roland Park … Named to Under Armour Junior Spotlight Team … Earned Athletic Excellence Award in indoor track … Earned the silver medal in 4x200 and bronze in the 4x800 at the indoor track conference championships … Set the school record for 400-meter dash … Daughter of Amy and Steve Dassoulas … Has one sister, AnnaJane.

Bio | Three-sport athlete playing lacrosse, soccer and basketball at Staples… Four-year varsity starter on the lacrosse team … Varsity lacrosse captain for the 2021-22 season … Earned the Alice Addicks Award … All-FCIAC Honorable Mention …. Ranks second on the team in goals (45), assists (30) and points … Two-time Conny all-star for lacrosse … Two-year varsity starter for the basketball team and captain for the 2021-22 season … Daughter of Mark and Melisa Didio … Father Mark was a two-time All-American and three-time all-conference wide receiver at UConn … Has two sisters, Isabella and Mia, and a brother, Mark Jr. … Twin sister Mia has also committed to play lacrosse for the Blue Hens … Brother Mark Jr. is a wide receiver at UConn.

Bio | Three-sport athlete playing lacrosse, soccer and basketball at Staples … Member of the 2022 Connecticut Women’s National Team … CONNY All-Star Selection … Daughter of Mark and Melisa Didio … Father Mark was a two-time All-American and three-time All-Conference wide receiver at UConn … Has two sisters, Isabella and McKenzie and a brother Mark Jr. … McKenzie has also committed to play lacrosse for the Blue Hens … Brother Mark Jr. is a wide receiver at UConn.

Post LIU … Oldest sister Jordan played lacrosse at Rutgers University ‘20 and her other sister Reilly plays lacrosse at the University of Vermont ‘22.

Bio | Four-year varsity starter in lacrosse and two-year varsity starter in basketball at Evanston Township … USA Lacrosse High School All-American … Earned lacrosse all-state and all-conference honors … Led her high school team in draw controls … Named to the Under Armour All-American Midwest team … Basketball All-Defensive Team … Daughter of Coni and Patrick Farragher … Has two brothers, Quinn and Colin … Quinn plays lacrosse at Canisius College and Colin plays lacrosse at Lynn University.

Bio | Played lacrosse, soccer and field hockey at Arundel High School… Was a four-year varsity starter and two-year captain of the lacrosse team … Named All-County First Team for lacrosse … Was the leading goal scorer for Anne Arundel County Public Schools in 2021 … Earned all-county honors in soccer her freshman year … Daughter of Jill and Russell Gore ... Has two siblings, Madison and Cami.

Bio | Was a three-year starter on the varsity lacrosse team and on the varsity soccer team … Was an Under Armour 150 selectee and a Nike 120 selectee in lacrosse … Daughter of Theresa and Jay Marszal … Father Jay played lacrosse at CCBC Essex … Her triplet sisters are Jamie and Jaclyn … Jaclyn committed to play lacrosse at Notre Dame.
