Renan Thomazo Named CAA Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Blue Hen goalkeeper Renan Thomazo was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Thomazo made six saves in Delaware's 0-0 double overtime draw at Hofstra on Friday, including a terrific stop with his left foot during the first overtime period.
Thomazo has played all 420 minutes in the Blue Hen goal this spring, posting three clean sheets in four matches. He has made 15 saves and currently holds a 0.43 goals against average on the season.
Thomazo and the Blue Hens, who are unbeaten at 2-0-2, play their final regular season game at Drexel on Saturday, April 10 at 5 p.m.
