Delaware Women’s Golfers Remain Third, Carroll Tied for Fifth at CAA Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Delaware women's golf team remains in third place on Monday following the second round of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship.
The Blue Hens, who posted a 314 score during Sunday's opening round, followed with a 304 on Monday and are third out of seven squads with a 618 total. College of Charleston leads the field at 593, while James Madison is second with a 609 score.
UD freshman Christina Carroll carded a two over par 74 on the par 72, 6,050-yard East Course at Grandover Resort, as she moved up into a tie for fifth place among individuals at eight over par 78-74-152. Carroll birdied the third and 18th holes during her second round of the tournament, while adding 12 pars on the day.
Oihana Etxezarreta is tied for eighth place with a 10 over par 75-79-154 while Lexi Dart, who tied Carroll for the lowest round of the day by a Blue Hen, is tied for 13th place with a 12 over par 82-74-156.
Liz Coffren is tied for 17th place with a 14 over par 81-77-158, while Anna Kittelson is tied for 20th place with a 15 over par 80-79-159.
Viktoria Hund of Charleston is the tournament leader at even par, while her teammate Victoria Huskey is three shots back.
The final round of the championship will be held on Tuesday.
