Riley Brings Home CAA Player of the Week

First career homer and nine RBI highlight the weekend

RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced Tuesday that freshman Aidan Riley has been named the conference's Player of the Week after helping the University of Delaware baseball team take 3-of-4 games from Hofstra.

Riley hit .400 on the week with his first career home run, a double, nine RBI and three runs scored. He delivered a walk-off base hit in the bottom of the 10^th inning in the series' opener Friday night.

On Sunday, he slugged his first career home run, as part of a 3-for-5 afternoon with four RBIs and he also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 7-5 Saturday win.

The Blue Hens continue CAA Play with a trip to Northeastern for a four-game series with the Huskies, beginning Friday at 2 p.m.
