Women's Soccer Match Preview: Seton Hall

» Delaware is 1-2 to start the season. The Blue Hens return to Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium for their third home match of the season, where they are 1-1. Sara D'Appolonia, Claudia Benz, and Anna Diffendal lead the team in goals with one apiece. Diffendal leads the team in points with three.

» Sunday will be the ninth all-time meeting between Delaware and Seton Hall. Last time out in 2019, the Blue Hens were victorious in double overtime, 2-1. D'Appolonia was one of the two goal scorers in the match, giving Delaware a 1-0 lead to start the game.

» Seton Hall is 2-0 to start the season. The Pirates recorded a 1-0 victory over Lafayette to open the season at home, and then picked up a 2-0 road win at NJIT. Naomi Welch has scored all three goals for Seton Hall this season, as the Pirates are averaging 16 shots per game. Goalkeeper Grace Gordon has made eight saves for Seton Hall.
