"All of them are hard workers, strong players, excellent students, great teammates, proven winners and most importantly amazing young women. "The coaching staff believes that this year's incoming freshmen and transfer players will be in the position to contribute to our on-field performance and success their first year at the University of Delaware. The team's goal is to compete for CAA Championships and advance deeper into the NCAA Tournament, this group of new Hens should be able to join forces with our returning players and for our 2021 DEHO team to enjoy their season's journey this fall."
The Blue Hens host Lafayette in a scrimmage on Aug.19, before kicking off the 2021 campaign with a pair of road matches at Old Dominion (Aug. 27) and Virginia (Aug. 29).
