Volleyball Match Preview: NJIT, Fordham and UMES

» The Blue Hens host NJIT, Fordham and Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) as part of the two-day Delaware Invitational this weekend.

» Delaware's home opener opposite NJIT will mark the first all-time meeting between the Blue Hens and Highlanders.

» Delaware and Fordham have met twice previously with the most recent meeting coming on Oct. 7, 1989. The Blue Hens are 2-0 against the Rams and have yet to drop a set in the all-time series.

» The Blue Hens lead the all-time series over UMES, 3-0. Delaware is 2-0 versus the Hawks in Newark, including a 3-1 victory on Oct. 8, 2008.

» Junior Lani Mason was tabbed the Temple Invitational MVP following her performance last Saturday. Savannah Seemans and Katie Turner joined Mason on the all-tournament team.
