Orri Thorhallsson Named CAA Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Blue Hen freshman midfielder Orri Thorhallsson was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Thorhallsson scored Delaware's first goal in last Monday's 4-2 loss at 10th-ranked Seton Hall, as in the 51st minute he took a short pass from Hyunjun Sun and blasted a shot from 20 yards out into the bottom left corner of the net.
The goal was the first career marker for Thorhallsson, who was making his UD debut vs. the Pirates.
Delaware plays its home opener on Tuesday when the Blue Hens host Monmouth at Grant Stadium at 7 p.m.
