Field Hockey Preview: Northeastern and Hofstra

NEWARK, Del. - Delaware field hockey (5-10, 3-1 CAA) is set to host its final two regular season home games at Rullo Stadium this weekend.
The Blue Hens play Colonial Athletic Association foe Northeastern (3-11, 2-1 CAA) on Friday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. Following Friday's game, the Blue Hens host conference opponent Hofstra on Sunday, Oct. 23 at noon.
The field hockey program celebrate senior day on Sunday, and will recognize senior's Morgan Rigual and Ashlyn Carr

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The field hockey program recognizes Ned Davis as an honorary coach. Davis is a former grounds crew employee who worked at UD for over two decades.Â
- UD is coming off a win against conference foe Towson 2-1 in OT on Friday, Oct. 14, and a 2-1 loss against Harvard on Sunday, Oct. 16
- Sian Emslie scored the game-winning goal against Towson in the 65th minute of OT. It was her second goal of the season.
- Julia Duffhuis leads the Blue Hens in goals with 6. The mark is tied for sixth in the CAA. Noelle Sabbagh has five goals and is tied for eighth in the CAA.Â
