Appeared in 21 games, and made 13 starts … finished fourth on the team, and first among freshmen, in assists with seven … scored four goals … collected first career goal against Virginia (Aug. 28) … scored a goal and added one assist in the CAA Championship game against Drexel (Nov. 6) … registered a goal in NCAA Tournament win against Lehigh (Nov. 9) … Helped the Blue Hens to their 11th CAA Championship title and an NCAA tournament berth.

Lia comes to us from Grossflottbeker Tennis-Hockey und Golf-Club in Hamburg, where she played the previous two seasons with former Blue Hens Pia Freudenberger and Greta Nauck. Lia brings to Delaware experiences gained, not only in the Bundesliga in her native Germany, where she helped her team to two National Championships in 2017 and 2019, but also with the German National Junior Teams, winning the 6 Nations tournament in 2019. Lia is an intelligent and dynamic hockey player, with a high level of both technical and tactical understanding and ability, and she will be a potent asset both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball."
