NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation and INFLCR have expanded their partnership to introduce the Blue Hen Exchange – a cutting-edge software that further elevates Delaware Athletics in its support of its student-athletes as they pursue Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) business opportunities on the local and national scale.
“I am excited about our partnership with INFLCR and the extension of our relationship with Teamworks,” Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation Chrissi Rawak said. “This partnership represents another example of our commitment to our student-athletes. In the changing landscape of college athletics, providing opportunities for our student-athletes to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness is integral to our ability to attract and retain student-athletes.”
The INFLCR+ Local Exchange platform for Delaware will provide student-athletes with a free and easy-to-use forum where they can interact with businesses, donors, alumni, and collectives to construct and fulfill NIL opportunities.
Businesses are encouraged to sign up for the Blue Hens Business Forum on Wednesday, December 7 from 6-6:45 to learn about how they can partner with the Blue Hens. Those in attendance will receive complimentary tickets to that night’s men’s basketball game against Delaware State at 7 p.m.
“Delaware is continuing to invest in their student-athletes with the addition of the Local Exchange,” said INFLCR Founder Jim Cavale. “The Blue Hen Exchange provides an amazing opportunity for student-athletes to develop and grow their personal brands in this NIL era.”
In addition to its simple and effective approach, the platform will build on the foundation of Delaware’s BLUE Program which educates student-athletes on NIL policies, financial literacy, and brand building. INFLCR will assist in providing research and tracking the student-athletes social media growth and engagement.
“We encourage all businesses to sign up for the Blue Hen Exchange to connect directly with our student-athletes on opportunities that are mutually beneficial,” said Rawak. “This is a great way to invest in the 302 and for our student-athletes to make an impact on the community.”

After a business or individual registers on the Blue Hen Exchange, they will have access to a searchable database of Delaware student-athletes, and filter that database through a variety of criteria. They will have the ability to message the student-athletes directly in the application or request contact information to begin discussions about any potential NIL transaction. INFLCR and Delaware will not be involved in any of the negotiations.
Upon finalization of an NIL deal within the Blue Hen Exchange, student-athletes will then be able to complete a compliance disclosure within the INFLCR app. The app will also include a payment processing tool for the business to securely and directly pay the student-athletes, with no transaction fees. All disclosure and payment data automatically reports to the institution's existing INFLCR compliance portal, and any payments processed using this tool will be reported on a consolidated 1099 that lives in the student-athlete's INFLCR app for more efficient tax reporting.
