Delaware Field Hockey Tabbed NFHCA Division I National Academic Team

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The Delaware field hockey team was tabbed as a 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Team Monday.
This marks the 11th straight season under head coach Rolf van de Kerkhof, that the squad has reached NFHCA National Academic Team status. During his tenure, Van de Kerkhof has also seen 121 NFHCA National Academic Squad members and 18 NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction.
The Blue Hens saw 17 named to the 2021 NFHCA Academic Squad, while seniors Grace Hoepfner and Grace Miller were named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction.Â
The NFHCA is proud to announce that 79 Division I programs have earned the 2021 NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award. The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
