COACH VAN DE KERKHOF SAYS
"Grace enjoys competition and teamwork on and off the field. She has put herself in the position to improve and learn as a player through her time with Jessica Shellenberger at Donegal HS and Tammy Scola at Alley Cats FHC. Although she has shown herself to be a great teammate, she also has proven she can be a difference maker for her teams. Thanks to Grace’s skill-set she should be an asset to our attacking and defensive corner units early on.”
WHY DELAWARE?
"From the first day I stepped onto campus, I knew that Delaware was the place for me. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to play field hockey for a team that is known for its commitment, competitiveness, and class. The University of Delaware is known for its physical therapy program. On my tour of the campus, I had the privilege of visiting the STAR building and all the resources it has to offer its physical therapy students. I want to serve others with my physical therapy degree, making things possible for those who are enduring physical challenges. I cannot wait to become a student-athlete at Delaware. I am very excited to contribute to the success of the Blue Hens on and off the hockey field."
