Lilia Henkel Selected CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Blue Hen freshman Lilia Henkel has been named Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week after tying for fifth place at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational last weekend.
Henkel carded a five over par 72-77-72=221 on the par 72, 6,001-yard Great Waters course to post her second top 10 finish of the season. She made five birdies during her opening round, added two in her second round, and recorded one during her third round while making just one bogey.
Henkel has competed in all but one tournament for Delaware this season, ranking second on the team with a 75.53 average round.
Henkel and the Blue Hens return to the course next Monday and Tuesday at the Rivertowne Invitational in Charleston, S.C.
