Carroll, Dart Named To CAA All-Tournament Team

SOUTHPORT, N.C. – Christina Carroll and Lexi Dart have each been named to the CAA Women's Golf All-Tournament Team following their performances at the conference tournament over the weekend.
Carroll finished in third place among individuals with a five over par 76-68-77=221 on the par 72, 5,998-yard Reserve Course at St. James. Her second round 68 tied her career low, as she birdied the first, fifth, seventh and 10th holes while not recording a bogey on the day.
Dart placed fifth at the tournament with an eight over par 78-76-70=224. Her final round 70 was a career low, as she recorded birdies on the third, ninth, 13th and 17th holes while making just one bogey on the day.
The Blue Hens featured two of the top five individuals for just the second time at the CAA Championship, along with 2016.
Delaware finished in second place at the tournament, and has now placed first or second in five of the last six conference championships.
