Delaware Men’s Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware will play 11 matches at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium and opens the Tommy McMenemy era with a home game on Aug. 25 as the Blue Hens announced their 2022 men's soccer schedule on Wednesday.
Following a pair of home exhibition games against West Chester (Aug. 13) and Rider (Aug. 17), Delaware opens its regular season slate with a home match vs. Mount St. Mary's on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. The Blue Hens remain home on Aug. 29 to host Loyola (Md.) at Grant Stadium.
The Blue Hens open Colonial Athletic Association play with a road match at Charleston on Sept. 3, before returning home to host Saint Joseph's on Sept. 6.
Delaware then heads to William & Mary on Sept. 10, and is back in Newark to face George Washington on Sept. 13 and Elon on Sept. 17.
The Blue Hens travel to Lehigh for a non-conference game on Sept. 20, and following a home match vs. UNCW on Sept. 24, head to Hofstra on Oct. 1.
Delaware then plays a four-game homestand, beginning with Drexel on Oct. 8 followed by UMBC on Oct. 11. The Blue Hens host Stony Brook on Oct. 15, before closing the stretch vs. American on Oct. 18.
Following a match at league newcomer Monmouth on Oct. 22, the Blue Hens head to national power Maryland on Oct. 25. The regular season concludes with a home game against Northeastern on Oct. 29.
The six-team CAA Tournament will feature first round games on Nov. 4 and semifinals on. Nov. 6, before the championship game at the highest remaining seed on Nov. 12.
